About the Role:
Theopeningpresents new challenges and the opportunity to work on a variety of different programs of inspection of current structures and pipelines within the King County sewer system.The positionprovidesgreater insight into infrastructure planning and development. This opening joins a fantastic team and collaborationwith multipleKing County groups (King Engineering Operations Permitting Real Property KC Industrial Waste and KC Parks).

We are seeking Construction Manager IIs to become part of a growing world class organization. We are looking forenthusiastic forward thinking agile detail oriented and customer service drivenemployees to add to our great team.

The Construction Management groupis looking to fill multiple Construction Manager II positions with professionals that are excited about urban infrastructure planning and development.

We partner with regulatory agencies to reduce harmful waste discharge and actively educate the public and businesses on water quality protection. We prioritize accountability to our ratepayers and operate a well-managed agency that services over 2.3 million King County residents. Our regional wastewater treatment system not only sustains a healthy environment but also fuels economic development fostering prosperity in our region. This is a hybrid position. Staff will primarily telework but have access to a downtown co-working space and various facilities to participate in trainings and workshops conduct meetings and engage colleagues. The frequency of onsite work will depend on business needs. Some mandatory site visits and field work cannot be accessed via public transportation. Candidates will have access to a county vehicle or can be reimbursed if using their personal vehicle. Candidates will be issued a laptop a regional transit pass and a stipend for work boots and PPE.

Required Licenses/Certifications:
  • A valid Washington State drivers license and a complete Washington State 5-year Driving Abstract from the Dept. of Licensing (to be provided before a final offer)
  • Training in industrial first aid and confined space entry (or obtain within 6 months).
  • Flagging certification (or obtain one in 6 months).
