Job Description
Your contribution
As a Purchaser at Teledyne FLIR Systems within Solutions your main responsibilities will be managing the day-to-day operations by placing purchase orders and securing deliveries to meet our business plans. This requires you to be able to work very independently and have the integrity to balance the different parts of the role.
Our office is based in Tby and you are expected to be in the office most of the time.

- Forecast handling out to our suppliers
- Place purchase orders
- Handling order acknowledgement from our suppliers
- Monitor that the PO will be delivered on time
- Manage invoices that do not match
- Keep SAP updated with the right figures/data when it comes to Price Lead-time etc.
- Monitor to prepare new material in our master data in SAP
- Manage KPIs and communicate some of them with a regular meeting with the suppliers
- Have a good communication with planning production warehouse and category team
- Handel face in/ face out of materials
- Updating inventory and managing stock levels
- Handle ECO out to our suppliers
- To be involved in project the hand over to production volume
- Claims handling
- Import
To be ready to take on this role we would love for you to have
- Experience from previous purchasing work as well as knowledge about manufacturing and/or development work with the manufacturing industry.
- You are able to work with multiple tasks at once in a complex environment.
- As a person you are positive pragmatic and contributes to team spirit within the team and cross functionally. It is important that you are structured analytical and solution oriented since the environment in which we are operating changes rapidly.
- Express yourself fluently in Swedish and English
- Good knowledge in Excel and SAP
This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
