Develop review and revise I&C design drawings including cable routing instrument layouts junction box locations control panel layouts and loop diagrams.
Interpret engineering specifications and vendor documents to generate accurate site installation drawings.
Conduct site surveys and field walkdowns to verify existing conditions and gather required data.
Support construction teams with technical clarifications redlining as-built drawings and resolving field design issues.
Coordinate with other discipline designers (e.g. electrical mechanical civil) to ensure proper interface and clash resolution.
Ensure all drawings are developed according to project standards codes and client specifications.
Update and maintain documentation records and drawing registers.
Diploma or Associate Degree in Instrumentation Control Systems or a related engineering discipline.
Experience as an I&C Designer preferably in an EPC/construction site environment.
Proficient in AutoCAD SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) or other relevant design tools.
Familiar with international codes and standards (e.g. ISA IEC NEC).
Experience working on large-scale industrial projects (oil & gas mining chemical or infrastructure) is a plus.
Strong understanding of construction workflows instrumentation installation and cable routing best practices.
