Glasgow Clyde College is one of the largest further education providers in Scotland with over 500 full-time and part-time courses to choose from and is a multi-site college with campuses in Anniesland Cardonald and Langside.

Overview:

They are now seeking a motivated and proactive Digital Payroll and Analytics Apprentice to join the team. This position will be based in the colleges Payroll team; you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process responding to any payroll tickets and escalating complex tickets to the Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Becoming an expert user for ITrent PowerBi Business Objects and MS Excel to contribute to payroll processing data management and process improvement.
  • Assist in the end-to-end procession pf payroll using iTrent the college payroll system and problem-solving when required.
  • You will become part of the small but dynamic team to work together collaboratively to meet payroll tickets deadlines and support the wider data management responsibilities.
  • You will assist in the collection analysis and payroll data to build monthly reports using MS Excel and PowerBi for key stakeholders.
  • You will use PowerBI to manage datasets clean data build reports and manage dashboards.
  • Prepare and present reports identifying trends or anomalies in payroll and operational data.

Salary: 23992 per annum.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:45am - 4:45pm.
