Sattler College is seeking a mission-aligned Admissions Counselor to support the execution of the Colleges enrollment strategy. Reporting to the Director of Admissions this role focuses on both the relational and operational aspects of recruiting and enrolling future Sattler students.
The Admissions Counselor is responsible for maintaining and improving admissions systems and processes engaging with prospective students and supporting CRM (Element 451) implementation and data integrity. This position also includes administrative support including taking and organizing minutes during directors meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the implementation and management of the Colleges CRM (Element 451).
Monitor and follow up with prospective students regarding incomplete inquiries applications and missing documents.
Communicate clearly with admitted students to guide them through next steps to enrollment.
Coordinate and host campus visits for prospective students.
Represent Sattler College at local recruitment events.
Prepare promotional and administrative materials such as flyers reports and email communications.
Coordinate recruitment travel logistics for admissions staff and student ambassadors.
Assist with managing and distributing admissions merchandise.
Take minutes during directors meetings and ensure accurate documentation and organization.
Take initiative in identifying opportunities to improve enrollment processes and engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience navigating a college admissions process (as a student staff member or mentor).
Bachelors degree preferred.
Strong communication writing and organizational skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (Docs Sheets Gmail Calendar etc.).
Ability to explain technical systems and tools clearly to various users.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Self-motivated and able to manage time and tasks independently.
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with or willingness to learn:
CRM platforms especially Element 451.
Data export/import automation and integration tools.
Populi (Learning Management and Student Information System).
Social media marketing tools (e.g. Canva Mailchimp etc.).
