With a view to strengthening our team we are looking for a:


Quantity Surveyor Civil


The project concerning the expansion of the Gdansk Refinery aimed at improving its crude processing capability as well as ensuring higher quality and energy-efficient fuels and relates to the execution of a hydrocracking unit (Hydrocracked Base Oil Plant) with associated logistic facilities which will allow the production of Group II base oils. This innovative plant will be the second one in Europe and will be capable of treating better performing base oil groups with a lower environmental impact.


The Quantity Surveyor inputs and accounts the works performed by Subcontractors in the specific data base and handles any deviations from budget values.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Check in detail the accounting submitted by the Civil Subcontractors for unit prices Subcontracts; in particular verify quantities (to be calculated in accordance with the drawings issued for construction and in accordance with the Special Preamble to Prices and Methods of Measurement Civil Works defined in the Subcontract)
  • Ensure the correct application of unit prices (to be in accordance with the contract price list and Subcontract requirements) and ensure the accuracy of all calculations (arithmetic)
  • Assist the Subcontracts Administration Manager with the evaluation and verification of extra works and obtain the Clients approval
  • Assist Subcontracts Administration Manager with other Subcontract Administration activities as required
  • Assist Subcontracts Administration Manager with the preparation of backup documents for the Payment Certificates
  • Expedite and ensure timely receipt of accountings and other deliverables from Subcontractors
  • Maintain proper filing of all Subcontracts and accounting documents
