Join our dynamic Cloud Sales Center team where youll shape the future of cloud technology sales by developing and leading a team of demand generation reps to bring new and exciting startups on AWS. In this impactful role youll own sales targets design and implement innovative programs to improve the efficiency of your teams operations whilst building early in career professionals into successful sellers that contribute to AWSs growth across EMEA. As a DG Manager in Startup you will have the exciting opportunity to lead our high growth France and EMEA South areas. You and your team will help customers make the transformational move to AWS by understanding their business opportunities and demonstrating the unique benefits of solving them with AWS services. You will develop customer acquisition strategies that will continue driving our growth across all EMEA areas. You will also be a sales coach to the next generation of AWS talent and assist them to learn grow and be successful.
Your primary responsibilities will be to own the sales targets on pipeline creation associated to your area. You will work with area field sales and Central sales leaders to fine-tune the prospecting strategy ensuring that you are maximizing the output of your teams efforts. You will use your experience in sales and technology to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders across all the business.
A successful leader should be eager to develop others and be a driven self-starter with a deep interest in growing the next generation of AWS talent and have the capabilities to drive large scale sales initiatives. The candidate should be prepared to perform against goals and consistently meet targets with a focus on delivering results for the business.
Key job responsibilities
Own the pipeline creation targets for your area. Deliver high quality results by hiring and developing a great DG team
Deliver across key metrics for the area you are responsible. Look beyond your own scope and contribute to the success of Area / EMEA DG teams
Manage the monthly/quarterly business reporting to senior leadership
Analyze data and trends and make informed recommendations to senior stakeholders
Coach your reps to improve the effectiveness of their prospecting
Manage Sales Compensation scheme
Develop relationships and work with marketing sales partner sales operations DG and other stakeholders to create and refine the tools and processes needed to drive productivity increases.
Identify reporting issues gaps in processes and drive timely resolution
Prepare ad-hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed

- Experience in technology related Business Development Sales Strategy Operations or other related field
- Experience in coaching and mentoring young professionals
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Economics Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Ability to conduct analysis of complex data and strong business-process design experience
- Experince in team leadership positions in a result oriented environment
- Handles multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Track record in effectively collaborating with and influencing senior stakeholders
- A strong understanding of AWS and/or technology as a service (Iaas SaaS PaaS)
