Description
Location:Washington DC
- The Data Engineer is responsible for carrying out engineering tasks to deliver an advanced visual analytic application.
- The Data Engineer shall develop data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software; facilitating the bulk analysisof relational information utilizing advanced graphics visualization and high-performance computing as well as using the specifiedopen source COTS and GOTS technologies; and establishing an application that produces manageable actionable intelligencefrom streams of structured and semi-structured data.
- Design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations programming and security.
- Design and construct large relational databases. Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine systemperformance and functionality.
- 8 Years of data engineering experience
- Experience applying comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
- Experience planning and leading major technology assignments.
- Experience functioning as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
- Experience leading teams and supervising individuals.
