The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services from Advisory to Assurance Tax and Business our innovative hubs youll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. Youll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Software Engineering team you develop and maintain innovative applications that meet client needs. As a Senior Associate you analyze complex problems mentor junior developers and uphold professional standards while building meaningful client relationships. This role offers the chance to thrive in a fast-paced environment leveraging your technical strengths and creativity to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end Java applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Conduct code reviews to maintain adherence to established practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects promptly
- Maintain documentation for software development processes
- Stay current with emerging technologies and programming trends
- Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment
What You Must Have
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- 5-8 years of experience in Java development
- Proficiency in Spring Boot REST and SOAP web services
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular or React
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL or MySQL
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS
- Experience with application servers such as WebLogic
