Staff Nurse- Oncology
Bamford Suite - Derby Hospital Oncology Permanent Part time
Very competitive salary depending on skills and experience
30 hours per week

As an Oncology Nurse in the Bamford at our Derby Hospital youll be attentive focused detail-oriented and registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including NMC. With post-registration experience youre a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
As an Oncology Nurse you will:
Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service
Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments such as immunotherapy
Fully assess each patients needs providing tailored treatment plans and care
Assist consultants during clinics
Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
Experience/competence in administering SACT undertaking venepuncture cannulation and managing of a variety Central Vascular Access Devices is desirable but not essential as training can be given.
Working as an effective team member and promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships

The Nuffield Health DerbyHospital is a modern purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds three operating theatres and together with a comprehensive range of outpatient services.
The Radiology department is a small but busy department covering general radiographic procedures theatre ultrasound MRI and CT. Set in beautiful grounds were about 3 miles from the city centre within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.
