Computer Science Subject Lead

Temporary 01/09/25 to 31/08/26

M1 to UPS3 plus TLR 3 of 2000

We are seeking a dynamic motivated and forward-thinking classroom practitioner with a genuine passion for leading the Computer Science department and a desire to step into a leadership role. This one-yearSubject Lead offers the ideal platform for an aspiring middle leader to gain valuable experience in leading a successful and ambitious curriculum area.

This role is designed to provide professional development and leadership exposure with a focus on guiding supporting and inspiring a dedicated team while ensuring the continued delivery of outstanding teaching and learning in Computer Science. It represents a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in curriculum leadership strategic planning and staff development.

As there will be an ECT 1 in the department there will be an expectation to be a mentor for the staff member. You will receive 1 mentor period plus an additional leadership period.
