Position at Putnam Hospital Center
JOB SUMMARY:
To produce radiographs of diagnostic quality and perform appropriate record keeping tasks with minimal supervision. This individual interacts with patients of all ages.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of a formal program of radiologic technology in an A.M.A. approved school.
- Licensure/Registration/Certification: Must hold a current NYS license to practice radiologic technology. Must be registered with the ARRT or registry eligible.
- Work Experience: Past experience as a radiologic technologist desired but new graduates acceptable.
Working Conditions:
Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Little or no potential for occupational risk
Physical Effort: Sedentary/light effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Some exposure to dirt odors noise human waste etc.
