We are searching for a talented Advanced Practice Practitioner
Hours: Full-time 7a - 7 p / 8a - 7 p
Shift: Day
Location: St. Lukes Hospital - New Bedford MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities
- Under the general supervision and direction of the Physician Office Manager or designee conduct hospital rounds as directed by individually assigned Physician.
- Perform initial histories physicals consultations and follow-up care visits which may require laboratory testing radiology testing and/or immunizations.
- Formulate diagnoses based on clinical assessments and establish appropriate/ timely treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required.
- Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
- Nurse Practitioner Certificate/Physician Assistant Certificate is required.
- One year experience required.
- Current Massachusetts Nursing Practitioners License or Physician Assistant License is required.
