New York Life Investments is offering a distinctive opportunity for an experienced sales professional to step beyond the traditional home-office internal role and work directly in the field alongside an External Wholesaler. This position combines in-person meetings with financial advisors and traditional internal wholesaling responsibilities providing an opportunity to develop deeper client relationships hands-on market experience and career advancement.

About the Role

As a Georgia State In-Market Internal Wholesaler you will be a key supporting partner to your External Wholesaler working collaboratively to drive sales strengthen advisor relationships and support the overall growth of the territory. You will play a crucial role in driving sales and deepening relationships with financial advisors by being a trusted consultative partner. Your success hinges on adding value beyond product discussions positioning yourself as a strategic resource for advisors seeking market insights portfolio solutions and business growth strategies.

What Youll Do:

  • Build and managerelationships with financial advisors through in-person meetings phone outreach and virtual interactions.
  • Execute and supportyour External Wholesaler in creating and implementing strategic sales plans for the territory.
  • Educate and advisefinancial advisors on investment solutions including mutual funds ETFs and SMAs while providing asset allocation insights.
  • Be a student of the marketsby staying ahead of economic trends product innovations and industry shifts to provide relevant insights that elevate advisor conversations.
  • Engage in a consultative sales approachby asking the right questions uncovering advisor needs and delivering tailored solutions that drive meaningful engagement.
  • Deliver value-add solutionsby equipping advisors with actionable ideas industry best practices and tools that help them grow their business and better serve their clients.
  • Expand and deepenterritory growth by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships.
  • Position yourselfas a go-to resource by consistently delivering insights sharing thought leadership and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain and optimizeCRM data and sales tracking systems to ensure efficiency and proactive engagement.
  • Coordinate and contributeto the planning of conferences seminars and advisor meetings to maximize market engagement.
  • Uphold a structured distraction-free work environment at homeensuring high productivity.

What Youll Bring:

  • Must reside in the state of Georgia and be able to travel as needed.
  • At least 2 years of experience in asset management sales or as a Financial Advisor (Georgia experience is a plus but not required).
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses are required.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business or a related field is preferred.
  • Passionate about financial markets investments and ongoing learning.
  • Curious mindset with strong questioning skills to uncover advisor needs.
  • Driven to become a key partner to advisors through knowledge service and strategy.
  • Skilled in executing sales strategies tracking results and adjusting to market trends.
  • Proven track record of sales success and strong advisor relationships.
  • Able to maintain a dedicated productive work-from-home environment.
  • Solid understanding of investments including mutual funds ETFs SMAs and capital markets.
  • Strong presentation communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter who works well independently and with an External Wholesaler.
  • Willing to travel to the NYC home office once per quarter.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:Base Salary $70000 Sales Incentives

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:No

Sales bonus eligible:Yes

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individuals experience skills qualifications and job location. Additionally employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.

Please note: This role requiresFINRA licensedand/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.
