Job Description
Job Summary (SAP EWM Functional Consultant):
- Provide functional support for SAP EWM decentralized application for a manufacturing client.
- Analyze troubleshoot and resolve production incidents by identifying root causes.
- Lead and coordinate a small team (3 members) in supporting and enhancing the SAP EWM solution.
- Collaborate directly with business users to understand analyze and resolve warehouse operation issues.
- Manage and implement change requests including configuration testing and deploying to production.
- Participate in discussions regarding business processes and planned system upgrades.
- Support end-to-end warehouse management processes: Inbound Outbound Kitting Internal Warehouse VAS Wave Management Physical Inventory and Posting Changes.
- Configure and support warehouse order creation rules process-oriented and layout-oriented storage control (POSC/LOSC) and WPT Determination.
- Handle EWM data migration and cutover activities during go-live phases.
- Collaborate with SAP ABAP team for custom development (RF transactions RICEF objects).
- Ensure proper RF integration and manage RF queue.
- Create and maintain master data: Packaging Specifications Warehouse Organizational Structure Handling Units etc.
- Configure and modify Post Processing Framework in SAP EWM as required.
- Add value to the clients business by understanding existing processes and suggesting improvements.
- Work on ECC and EWM integrations as needed.
- Prefer candidates with experience in manufacturing especially automotive OEM environments.
- Onsite role (Portland OR 4 days/week) 6-month contract open to local or relocating USC/GC candidates.
