Permanent Nurse Practitioner-Internal Medicine Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: Full-Time Days 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Job Functions: - Conduct comprehensive or problem-focused physical exams and medical histories
- Order interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results
- Prescribe and manage drug therapies and other treatments based on patient needs and clinical protocols
- Formulate and implement evidence-based outcomes-driven treatment plans
- Provide health counseling on medication nutrition illness management and preventive care
- Document all care provided including treatment plans and outcomes in patient records
- Refer patients to specialists as needed based on scope of practice
- Provide consultation services relevant to internal medicine
- Deliver care in various settings (clinic inpatient emergency procedural)
- Perform certain invasive procedures as permitted by scope and training
- Participate in extended care coverage as needed

Licensure & Certification Requirements: - Current Texas RN License valid in Texas.
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) License-Texas.
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in internal medicine or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-Must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Experience Requirements: - Open to new graduates (Less than 1 year of NP experience accepted).
