The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600 skilled engineers who focus on tendering engineering planning procurement project Management functional system testing installation supervision documentation and commissioning
Misson Statement:
To provide the technical expertise and execute the primary and secondary engineering as project engineer AIS and GIS Substations for different voltage levels (145 KV / 245 KV / 420 KV/ 550 KV ).
Your responsibility:
Participate in the Technical Kick off handover meetings with Project Manager / Tendering
Understand the customer specifications as per the provided customer inputs.
Read through the customer specifications and compliance reports as per the customer requirements.
Participate in the Technical Kick off handover meetings with Project Manager / Tendering
Accountable for the On Quality Delivery of the milestones of the project as per the Milestone database
Participate in the customer clarification meetings for the design freeze along with the Project Lead Engineer or project manager contract administrator.
Review of deliverables before submission to Client.
Participate in customer meetings as required. Active participation in project review meeting
Technical trainings and lessons learned sessions to the team.
Supports trouble shooting for factory and onsite issues and provides disposition actions.
Can do proper root causing analysis for the quality issues and work on long term solutions for HV products

Your Background:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering with 4-8-years of experience in primary and secondary design.
Core knowledge of high voltage substation products competent to review primary and schematic drawing of HV products
Hand on experience in 3D tools like ProE / CREO AUTOCAD-3D MSOffice
Familiar with international standards (IEC AS)
Knowledge SAP system.
Product knowledge in Hitachi Energy AIS/GIS Products
Expertise in the MS Tools (Excel / Power BI / MS Power point)
