How Youll Make an Impact
- Report to the Manager Community Programs & Events and support AMAs efforts to strengthen relationships with communities across Alberta.
- Lead and supervise the AMA School Safety Patrol Program ensuring it continues to be a respected and meaningful initiative in schools.
- Create and execute project plans including timelines resourcing and budgets.
- Help develop and deliver events and engagement activities that reflect AMAs values and safety-first culture.
- Monitor program performance using metrics and reporting toolsalways looking for ways to improve.
- Act as a key point of contact for schools community groups and internal teams offering timely information support and materials.
- Coach and support your team to deliver their best while modeling strong leadership and collaboration.
- Contribute to the vision and evolution of AMAs community programs including planning for growth and innovation.
What You Bring to the Table
- You have post-secondary education in education communications public relations event planning or project/business management.
- You bring at least 3 years of progressive experience in program management event coordination or community development.
- You have previous experience supervising a team or leading project-based initiatives.
- Youre experienced with school-based programs or initiatives tied to community or youth engagement.
- You have a valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle (travel within Alberta may be required).
- Youre First Aid certifiedor willing to get certified.
