Paediatrician Full-Time Part-Time or Locum
Location: Just 30 minutes south of London Ontario
Department: Paediatrics
About the Opportunity
We are seeking dedicated Paediatricians to join a team of Community Consultant Paediatricians providing secondary-level care in a dynamic and well-supported hospital environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collegial department with strong interdepartmental collaboration and an excellent work-life balance.
Department Highlights
- Six-bed inpatient paediatric unit
- Four-bed Level 2B NICU
- Over 900 births annually
- Strong partnerships with Emergency and Labour & Delivery teams
- On-call rotation: one week in five promoting a sustainable lifestyle
Compensation: $230000 $310000/year depending on experience and clinical workload.
Candidate Requirements
- MD or equivalent
- Certification in Paediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent)
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Strong commitment to collaboration innovation and high-quality care
- Interest in medical education and mentoring students residents NPs and PAs
Academic & Professional Development
This hospital serves as a community teaching site affiliated with Western University and the regional tertiary Children s Hospital. Successful candidates will have opportunities to participate in clinical teaching quality improvement and continuing professional development.
