At the Toorak Campus (ELC-Year 6) our purpose is to build a solid foundation (knowledge skills mindset and self-worth) in each child. To engender a true love of learning that will inspire and support them through their educational journey and successfully prepare them for their tomorrow.
Geelong Grammar School Toorak currently seeks a suitably qualified experienced and driven Contemporary Vocal Music Tutor. The role and function of the Music Tutor is to plan and deliver engaging and considered individual music lessons to students from Prep to Year 6.
This is a casual contract for approximately one day per week.
About you:
Ideally the successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary Music qualification Jazz/Contemporary Voice
- Experience teaching within a school music program
- A proven record of excellence in tutoring and performance skills gained through training or experience
- A dynamic manner with the ability to relate well to students of all abilities and to communicate effectively with students parents and staff
- Participation in rehearsals concerts and Music events
- Ensemble direction and conducting skills will be considered advantageous
- A current Victorian WWCC (Employment) and a National Police Records Check
