Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:
This positionis part of the front-office staff andprovidesclerical support to the Denham Springs Behavioral Health Clinicand its employees. This supportmayinclude a variety of clerical dutiessuch as: answering multi-line telephones routing phone calls to theappropriate staffor taking detailed messages greeting clients notifying staff of client arrivals conducting check-in and check-out procedures for clients verifying insurance coveragecontacting clients with appointment reminders and processing faxes received. Additionally this position may also enter information into the electronic health record (EHR) as well asmaintaina supply of the necessary packets for both clients with scheduled appointments and walk-ins.

Position-Specific Details:


This position may be filled as a Probational Appointment or Job Appointment.Applicants may be asked to serve a probationary period of not less than 6 months and not more than24 months.


Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicants level of experience. Below is a list of the pay range(s) for the position(s):

  • Administrative Coordinator 3: $13.77/hour minimum - $23.59/hour maximum

Note regarding the advertised pay range: The maximum amount listed is the maximum salary a person can make while in this title andNOTthe maximum amount usually offered to new hires.

An additional premium pay of $1.00/hour may be applied hour for hour working in direct patient care.
