Nursery Manager Up to 37000 Full-Time (40 hrs)

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a welcoming and nurturing early years setting with a wonderful outdoor learning space.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager who values child-led learning prioritises staff wellbeing and is ready to take the next step in a supportive and progressive environment.

The service is proud to offer a warm community-focused nursery that places children at the heart of everything they do. As Nursery Manager youll take the lead in ensuring the highest standards of care and education creating a safe inspiring and inclusive space for children to thrive.

Youll be responsible for the daily running of the nursery providing strong and empathetic leadership to a dedicated team and building positive relationships with families and the wider community.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years (essential)
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager with a strong track record
  • Confident in leading inspections and meeting statutory requirements
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding best practices
  • Skilled in motivating teams and managing day-to-day operations
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A warm approachable and inclusive leadership style

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the nursery team to deliver outstanding care and early education
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding health & safety and Ofsted requirements
  • Oversee curriculum planning and assessment to support each childs development
  • Foster a culture of kindness respect and continuous improvement
  • Manage nursery budgets staffing and occupancy targets effectively
  • Build trusted relationships with parents carers and external agencies
  • Support staff development through regular training appraisals and mentoring
