Sales Manager in the Education Sector - Fitness Training Provider
Up to 30k bonus
Vauxhall London
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our growing team in a newly created position. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and develop our learner support services while leading a dedicated team of Customer Advisors and Customer Executives.
As a government-funded education provider our client is committed to delivering exceptional guidance and support to help learners achieve their career aspirations whilst also achieving company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management
- Drive individual and team performance to consistently exceed sales targets.
- Deliver ongoing training and coaching to ensure the team follows a structured high-performing sales process.
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop a team of Customer Advisors and Customer Executives to ensure they hit their targets.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team capabilities and service delivery
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance management
Learner Support & Guidance
- Deliver comprehensive information advice and guidance to learners regarding future career pathways
- Advise on courses available
- Support learners through the enrolment process and course sign-up procedures
- Track learner attendance and progress maintaining accurate records
- Ensure all learners receive appropriate safeguarding support where needed
Administration & Compliance
- Manage essential administrative tasks and learner data
- Ensure compliance with government funding requirements and regulations
- Maintain understanding of relevant rules and regulations in the education sector
- Represent the organisation at occasional weekend trade fairs and events
About you
- Sales Driven with proven experience of hitting targets
- Educational background with proven experience in learning and development
- Team leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage and develop staff
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of government funding regulations and educational sector requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to supporting learner success and career development
- Previous sales experience (though this is not a sales-focused role)
- Experience working with external partners and stakeholders
- Background in career guidance or educational advice services
