LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE
Position Description:
Leominster Public Schools is looking for a licensed practical nurse to provide direct care to students.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Evaluate student health and report findings/changes to the RN parent/guardian teacher and
physician when appropriate.
o Document health office visits in the students electronic medical record.
o Work with the RN to address student health issues and concerns
o Maintain school health records according to state laws and school policy via paper files and the
computer
o Participate in yearly mandatory student health screenings
o Administer medications and treatments to students as per MD orders DPH guidelines and
school policy.
o Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities if asked
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited LPN program
Current Massachusetts Nursing License
CPR certification
First Aid certification
Preferred: Three years nursing experience
