The Opportunity

Our Lysaght business in Cairns is looking for a Team Member to join the Operations team. Made in Australia since 1921 Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects.

Being in a production role with us youll be working in a continuous production environment operating machinery to create premium building products. Using 100% Australian made steel in the manufacturing process youll be key to providing customers with what they need when they need it. Youll receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities!

What Will You Do

In this hands-on and varied role you will be responsible for:

• loading and unloading of trucks and safety co-ordinating customer pickups
• operating forklifts and other machine processing equipment
• providing our valued customers a first-class customer experience
• picking and packing from stock on-site to create specific orders
• being responsible for the safety of yourself and your co-workers
