Adjunct Business Instructor
Part-Time Non-Tenure

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Salary:
$920 per Instructional Unit
Up to 10 IUs/Quarter

Yakima Valley College seeks innovative adjunct Business Instructorscommitted to community college students and their success. This position is part-time non-tenure track.

Reporting to the Dean Workforce Education the adjunct Business Instructors will be accomplished and active in their discipline committed to participating in a multicultural interdisciplinary learning environment and skilled in the technology of learning and research.

Essential Tasks

JOB PROFILE:

  • Responsible for facilitating student learning in a variety of Business courses at theand 400 levels.
  • Provide classroom support for students with a variety of backgrounds and experience levels.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or a business-related field.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a business-related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of one year teaching experience at the college or university level Experience developing curriculum.
  • Experience with a variety of teaching modalities.
  • Successful experience working with culturally and ethnically diverse populations.
  • Commitment to the community college philosophy.
