The Procurement Associate is responsible for tracking orders and deliveries and providing timely accurate updates to customers in a professional manner. This role requires strong organizational time management and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities. The Procurement Associate collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver a high level of customer service and support a variety of procurement activities. Additional related duties may be assigned as needed. This position reports to the Procurement and Asset Coordinator. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelors degree in business supply chain management or a related field and have at least three years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented organized and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operations and Job Functions - Provide accurate up-to-date information to clients regarding their orders and deliveries in a professional manner building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Understand and follow the organizations purchasing policies and procedures ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Maintain an organized database of all purchases including pricing terms and delivery dates.
- Track orders and shipments to ensure timely delivery proactively addressing any delays.
- Facilitate shipping and coordinate with suppliers and shippers as needed to confirm or update orders.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality service and competitive pricing.
- Assist in evaluating vendor quotes and pricing to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Prepare basic procurement reports and summaries as requested to support purchasing decisions and track key metrics.
- Manage the inventory of supplies and equipment as directed.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping to comply with audit requirements and internal policies.
- Review and respond promptly to phone calls service tickets and electronic correspondence.
- Collaborate with service teams to communicate order shipment delivery and installation dates to clients.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procurement processes and systems.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the procurement team and other departments as needed.
- Ensure client needs are addressed promptly and accurately through independent support or in collaboration with the appropriate Myriad team(s).
- Assist with overflow incoming calls to ensure all calls are answered in person; create detailed service tickets and transfer calls as appropriate.

- 13 years of experience in procurement logistics supply chain or a customer service-related role preferred.

- Strong knowledge retention skills and a commitment to staying up to date on company products processes and specifications.
