JOB SUMMARY
This is a hands-on position requiring various duties within the department including: office administration warehouse duties and customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Unload deliveries inspect material for damage ensures material is correct style color quantity Stores restocks and shelves material.
- Prepare and stage jobs
- Marks materials with identifying information
- Records and checks quantity and quality of goods received
- Checks for damaged goods and communicates with appropriate department lead regarding product damage
- Perform general warehouse duties as required by management
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Load and unload delivery vehicles ensuring products are properly secured.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each shift reporting any maintenance issues.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Works under immediate supervision
- Attention to detail highly organized multi-tasking continuous follow through k Knowledge in floor products preferred but not necessary
- Needs to be detail-orientated have organizational skills physical strength to lift and move material
- Possess basic math skills
- Skilled in using a forklift preferred verifiable forklift certification
