Job Description
The Halifax Elementary School is seeking qualified candidates for a Long Term Substitute special education teacher position for an assignment expected to last from August 2025- November 2025.
This special education teaching position is working with students who have documented disabilities and require specially designed instruction.
This candidate:
- will be responsible for evaluating students writing IEPs and Progress Reports and attending IEP Meetings.
- will work with students on academic social and behavioral skills.
- should be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
It is expected the candidate will collaborate with other staff members and take part in professional development.
Salary is a daily rate of $312.00 beginning on day 1.
