Learning Support Assistant Whatley Campus
Location: South Gloucestershire
Full-time Term-Time Only
Competitive Daily Pay Start: September 2025
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with additional needs
Whatley Campus is a specialist school for students aged 916 with autism and a range of additional needs including ADHD speech and language difficulties learning delay and experiences of trauma. We are seeking a compassionate resilient and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our nurturing and skilled team.
What youll be doing:
Supporting students in small-group or 1:1 settings across a bespoke therapeutic and academic curriculum
Assisting teachers and therapists in delivering personalised learning tailored to each students needs
Helping pupils develop life skills independence and confidence both inside and outside the classroom
Promoting a safe calm and structured learning environment where every child feels valued
What were looking for:
A warm patient and proactive approach to supporting children with complex needs
A team player who thrives in a collaborative multidisciplinary setting
Ideally some experience in SEN education youth work or care but full training is provided
A belief in every childs potential to grow learn and thrive
