About The Role:
Are you a passionate and progressive operator Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment
We are looking for someone who brings energy initiative and sound judgement to provide trusted executive support to our General Manager of Engaged Community. In this role you will confidently manage competing priorities deliver seamless support and set a high standard for both internal and external customer experience excellence.
Collaboration is key to success in this role as you will work closely with large and diverse teams within the Engaged Community Division. You will also build and maintain effective relationships across the City of Charles Sturt particularly with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams and Elected Members while fostering partnerships with key external stakeholders & agencies.
A strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving systems and processes will position you well to support a division where customer experience is a core focus.
In this role you will also provide executive support to Councils Strategic and Engagement Committee Executive and Leadership steering groups and project working groups including preparing agendas reports minutes and action notes and attending out of hours committee meetings as required.
About You:
This opportunity would suit someone who can balance high-level executive support with responsiveness discretion and a genuine commitment to contributing to a positive values-led organisational culture. To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with:
- Experience in providing executive level support including the effective management of diaries emails and correspondence;
- The ability to confidently deliver your own work while role-modelling teamwork and collaboration;
- Excellent communication and organisational skills using systems and structure to ensure no detail is missed;
- A genuine passion for leveraging AI and digital tools to streamline repetitive tasks and create future-focused efficient ways of working;
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and actively prioritise work in a dynamic environment;
- Confident and engaging interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the Engaged Community Division with energy and positivity;
- A commitment to delivering excellence in both internal and external customer experiences;
- Experience in undertaking research and project work preparing Committee Agendas and Minutes and independently responding to correspondence.
- The ability to exercise astute political judgement on matters affecting the Engaged Community Division prioritising emerging issues partnership with the General Manager.

The Detail:
The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis and is classified at Level 5 with a salary range of $100774 to $105111 per annum Super Annual Leave Loading.
