We would like to provide our internal workforce the opportunity to express their interest in the role of Fire Warden.
This is apart time 36-month / 3 year termopportunity where you will perform additional duties in conjunction with your existing role. Employees engaged under the WaterNSW EA will be eligible for a nominatedFirst Aid and Fire Warden Allowanceas per the agreement commencing the pay fortnight after training completion.
Fire Wardens are required for the below select locations across New South Wales where we have a WaterNSW site. If your current site is not listed it means that we are not recruiting for Fire Wardens at your site at this point in time.
Note: Contingent workers or contractors that are not directly employed by WaterNSW are classed as external candidates. If contingent workers or contractors apply to this advert our internal workforce will be given first preference before considering external candidates.
The Role:
Attend initial and ongoing refresher training including an annual emergency exercise
Remain familiar with applicable emergency management plans and procedures for the nominated site
Implement the emergency response procedures for the nominated site
Participate in the development of WaterNSW emergency management plans as required
Promote effective emergency preparedness at the nominated site
What we are looking for:
Mandatory:Being located at the specific site with regular attendance working in the office
Favourable:Previous experience as a fire warden or first aider and/or current or expired qualifications as a fire warden or first aider
