TEACHING ASSISTANT AND PLAY LEADER
Salary:Pay band 4 17648 - 18538 (pro rata) (24420 - 25652 FTE)
Contract: ELSA- Emotional Literacy Support Assistant
Start Date: 3rd September 2025
We are looking for an enthusiastic nurturing individual to join our successful and supportive Pastoral Team.
As an ELSA you will work closely with children on a one-to-one or small group basis to support their emotional development helping them to understand and manage their feelings build resilience and develop healthy coping strategies. Youll also liaise with teaching staff and parents to ensure a consistent approach to emotional support across the school. Support will be within the classroom and through interventions.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is caring patient and committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people at Wimborne Primary School.
