Deputy Nurse Manager

Up toHours per Week RGN or RMN Qualified Residential Nursing & Dementia Care

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Nurse Manager to join their stunning purpose-built luxury nursing home. This beautiful setting offers exceptional residential nursing and dementia care in a warm person-centred environment supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a forward-thinking leadership team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious Clinical Lead Nurse or existing Deputy Nurse Manager with strong knowledge of CQC standards and a passion for delivering high-quality care in a supportive inclusive setting.

As Deputy Nurse Manager youll work closely with the Home Manager to oversee day-to-day clinical operations mentor staff and ensure exceptional standards of care and compliance are upheld. Youll play a vital role in resident wellbeing team development and service improvement.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) requiring a valid UK driving licence and access to a car due to the homes location.

What Youll Need

  • RGN or RMN qualified with a valid NMC pin
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager in a nursing home setting
  • Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and inspection frameworks
  • Experience in residential nursing or dementia care
  • Excellent clinical leadership and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for person-centred care
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in running the home to the highest clinical and operational standards
  • Provide leadership to the nursing and care teams acting as a role model and mentor
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice guidelines
  • Oversee care planning risk assessments medication administration and safeguarding
  • Promote a safe inclusive and empowering environment for residents and staff
  • Build strong relationships with residents families healthcare professionals and external agencies
  • Lead on audits staff supervision and development initiatives
