Are you a tech-savvy professional with deep expertise in VMware systems and a passion for keeping critical infrastructure running seamlessly The Northern Land Council (NLC) is seeking a skilled and proactiveSystems Administrator Virtualization to join our ICT team.

About the Role

the Systems Administrator Virtualization will lead the management and support of the VMware infrastructure across the organisation. Youll be hands-on with system troubleshooting performance monitoring server configuration upgrades and user support ensuring uptime and resilience of critical systems. Youll also play a key role in disaster recovery planning and security implementation keeping our systems and data protected and compliant.

What You Will Bring:

Your strong foundation in VMware technologies and systems administration will allow you to hit the ground running. Youll bring a proactive approach to problem-solving strong attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence. Your ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders and provide high-quality support will be critical to your success in this role. In addition to this you will have: -

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in VMWare administration and Windows administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 Azure AWS and network monitoring tools
  • Experience with SQL Server MySQL and PostgreSQL

  • A base salary of $84985 per annum plus 15% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15900 Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2650 per year.
  • Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
    • District allowance of up to $4797 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2630 without dependents.
    • 5 weeksannual leave leaving loading 18 days personal leave;
    • PaidChristmas close down;
    • Upon completion of 12 months of service anAnnual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2961
