Job Description
Specific responsibilities include:
- Follow instructions given by the shop lead and follow production or service orders
- Assemble parts and fittings into sub-assemblies and install using air electric and hand tools.
- Read illustrations diagrams or schematics to determine how to assemble components.
- Measure and mark dimensions of parts to ensure a tight fit and a quality product.
- Adjust repair and re-work parts and assemblies to ensure proper operation.
- Perform quality checks on assembled parts
- Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Attention to continuous improvement opportunities.
- Follow all company and OSHA Safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned my team lead and or production supervisor
Qualifications/Experience:
Follow instructions/Blueprints/production orders.
Experience building equipment/machines from scratch.
Extensive MIG welding experience including building custom brackets..
Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
Follow all company and OSHA Safety regulations.
Must be an energetic self starter and have a strong sense of urgency; and capable of following tasks through to completion.
