Location:Syracuse FL
Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Job Summary:
The Yard Specialist is a Certified Motor Vehicle Operator who operates primarily out of the truck yard at the G&C Foods facility. The Yard Specialist is responsible for the fleet of trucks and trailers including placement inspection and general maintenance of the equipment.Essential Functions:
- Performs daily yard equipment inventory at the start of each shift.
- Transports equipment to and from maintenance garages as needed.
- Updates the dispatch board in Operations as needed.
- Cleans trailers internally before loading of product.
- Change DEF as needed.
- Empty garbage bin near fuel station as needed.
- Performs other functions as needed or directed by Transportation Management.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- FL CDL-A preferred
