Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborativeData Management Specialistto support the integration and flow of clinical and operational data across multiple applications. This role is essential in ensuring that data from site sources is accurately mapped documented and transferred into the IQVIA Common Data Model (CDM) and downstream systems. You will work closely with ETL developers application SMEs (Subject Matter Expert) and data consultancy teams to ensure data quality and compliance with project requirements.
Essential Functions
- Assist in managing the flow of data from site source systems to IQVIA CDM and into final applications (e.g. OMOP convertor).
- Support the data mapping process by producing and maintaining documentation that outlines data lineage and transformation logic.
- Collaborate with ETL developers to provide input and clarification on data requirements and mappings.
- Participate in the review of data integration outcomes and help identify upstream data issues.
- Coordinate with application SMEs and technical teams to support resolution of data-related issues.
- Contribute to the change request process by documenting issues and supporting technical teams in implementing updates.
- Work with data consultancy teams to understand data mart requirements and ensure relevant data is included in the CDM.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree inHealth InformaticsBioinformaticsComputer ScienceBiomedical Engineering or a related field.

- Clinical Research or Epidemiology(with strong data focus)
- At least 2 years of experience inclinical data managementETL support ordata operationsin a healthcare or life sciences setting.
Technical Skills
- Regulatory complexity (GDPR HIPAA)
- Data sensitivity and security
- Integration with clinical systems (e.g. HL7 FHIR)
- Familiarity withclinical data models(e.g. OMOP CDISC).
- Basic understanding ofETL processesand tools (e.g. SQL Talend Informatica DataDog Prefect).
- Experience with data documentation and mapping.
