About our client:
Our client is a government agency undertaking a critical upgrade and containerisation of its identity and access management (IDAM) systems. The project focuses on enhancing security scalability and operational integrity through the deployment of ForgeRock technologies. The team values collaboration technical excellence and secure-by-design principles.
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced IDAM Engineer with hands-on expertise in ForgeRock to support the upgrade and containerisation of the AWB ForgeRock instance. This role involves designing secure identity frameworks developing deployment patterns and ensuring the integrity of all services across highly secure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop test and implement identity management frameworks systems and protocols.
- Manage IAM systems including SSO authentication and access controls to ensure confidentiality integrity and availability.
- Develop secure application deployment patterns that enforce security at every layer.
- Ensure all IAM systems are properly implemented and function as intended.
- Support the upgrade and containerisation of the AWB ForgeRock instance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to identity and access management.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and business teams to align solutions with project goals.
Required Experience:
Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience in identity and access management using open standards and best practices.
- Proven experience with the ForgeRock product suite (design implementation maintenance).
- Experience deploying IAM solutions in highly secure and highly available environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in identity-related technical issues.
- Working knowledge of automation and DevOps practices.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience improving IAM systems to protect against evolving threats.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business and infrastructure teams.
- Prior experience in government or regulated environments.
Security Clearance:
- NV1 clearance required to fully perform the role or eligibility to obtain.
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain NV1 clearance.
Whats on offer
This is a contract role for an initial 12 months with 2x 12 month extensions.
The role is located in Sydney on a Hybrid working arrangement.
