Job Description

Candidate shouldpossess a 4-9 middle childhood education ELA and have ability to use data toguide instructional differentiation planning for a diverse group oflearnersand be willing to participate in weekly teacher based teamplanning sessions. Candidate should have a willingness to understand theimplications of emotional trauma on learning and be willing to participate inNationwide Childrens Hospital Trauma Informed Practices in August. Candidateshould have someexperience in special needs inclusion. Candidate must bewilling to createSTEM and project based learning experiences for candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsible for creating a classroom environment that develops each students skills in listening speaking reading and writing so that they are able to effectively communicate. Assists students in the development for an appreciation and understanding of all types of literature that motivates students to enjoy reading for information and recreation. Evaluates each students progress in meeting the course standards for English skills (listening speaking reading and writing). Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior needed to provide an orderly productive classroom environment.
