Our dental front office treatment coordinator manages patient care by developing treatment plans coordinating services ensuring patients receive the necessary dental treatment evaluating patient progress schedule management and assisting with securing funding for dental care all while maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Key responsibilities of a patient coordinator may include:
Gathering patient information verifying insurance details and scheduling appointments.
Collaborating with providers to create individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Answering patient questions providing updates on treatment plans and addressing concerns.
Scheduling appointments sending reminders and coordinating rescheduling as needed.
Verifying insurance coverage obtaining pre-authorizations and managing billing inquiries.
Tracking patient progress through regular check-ins and communication.
Coordinate referrals to specialists or other service providers when necessary.
Maintaining accurate patient records and updating relevant medical information.
Providing patients with information about their condition treatment options and self-care practices.
Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
