Job Description
Location-Oman
Duration-1 month Shutdown
- Qualifications and SkillsMinimum 4 years of professional experience in the electrical field with a max of 6 years demonstrating a strong foundation in the industry.
- Proficiency in electrical wiring techniques and methods to ensure safe and efficient installations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively ensuring minimal downtime and safety compliance.
- Strong skill in blueprint reading to interpret electrical diagrams and execute tasks accurately according to specifications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.
- Proficient in circuit testing to identify and rectify issues in electrical circuits ensuring system reliability.
- In-depth understanding of power distribution systems to manage and maintain efficient electricity flows throughout facilities.
- Familiarity with electrical codes to ensure all work is compliant with local and international standards.
- Experience in equipment maintenance to proactively service and maintain electrical devices and systems.
- Roles and ResponsibilitiesInstall maintain and repair electrical control wiring and lighting systems as per job standards and codes.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams to plan wiring layouts and repairs accurately.
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers to ensure functionality and safety.
- Identify electrical problems using a range of testing devices to ensure reliable and efficient system performance.
- Adhere to state and local building regulations based on the national electric code to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to prevent incidents and to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work to ensure detailed and comprehensive documentation is available.
