How you will make contributions that matter:
Were looking for a proactive and detail-orientedMaintenance Plannerto join our team inBurnie Tasmania.
In this critical role youll be responsible for planning coordinating and optimising maintenance activities across our highly automated dairy manufacturing site. Youll work closely with production engineering and quality teams to ensure asset reliability minimise downtime and support compliance with safety and food quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the sites maintenance schedule using CMMS (e.g. SAP PM).
- Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance (PM) shutdowns and long-term maintenance strategies.
- Liaise with stakeholders across production quality and safety to align maintenance priorities.
- Ensure spare parts availability and manage procurement coordination.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and asset history.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance planning and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory environmental and food safety standards.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in maintenance planning within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience in the food beverage or dairy industry will be highly regarded.
- Trade qualifications or a background in engineering will be highly regarded or a strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of Lean TPM or reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) principles.
- Strong knowledge of CMMS systems (e.g. SAP Pronto MEX).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
