Job Description
Summary:
The Director of Student Activities is responsible for the coordination and administration of the athletic and activities programof John Handley High School.
Qualifications:
Requires a masters degree from an accredited college or university at least five years of successful full-time experience as a classroom teacher in an accredited nonpublic or public school and completion of an approved secondary education administration and supervision program. Head coaching experience is preferred. Provides supervision to the Assistant Director of Student Activities. Additional qualifications:
- Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work well with students parents and faculty members.
- Well-organized and able to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Understanding of best practices for student activities and leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple events and projects simultaneously.
- Trained and certified in AED CPR and First Aid
Salary:
Range for 2025-2026 payscale is $95000 to $146298based on a 260 day contract (includes payment for masters degree).
