Master Center for Addiction Medicine is seeking a full-time Accounts Receivable Representative to work in the Revenue Cycle Management department.
Master Center for Addiction Medicine is an entirely outpatient treatment center for individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorder or addiction. Master Center approaches the disease of addiction in a comprehensive evidence-based and individualized way drawing on every tool that has been proven effective: medical treatment education psychiatry professional counseling testing/monitoring peer support services and community recovery organizations. Our practice approach is to provide compassionate care through providers that are committed to treating our patients with dignity respect and kindness.
1-3 years in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Accounts Receivable experience strongly preferred.
Summary Description:
The Accounts Receivable Representative works under the direction of the Medical Billing Manager. Responsibilities include billing hospital and physician insurance claims account level cash posting activities follow-up activities with insurance companies on claim status resolving payor denials and patient accounting customer service.
Must possess a strong understanding of revenue cycle operations in the following functional areas: intake registration insurance eligibility and benefit verification coordination of benefits payor participation status and payor rules and regulations.
