Job Description
- Use predetermined methods operations setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in process and completed electronic/electrical assembled products such as Electronic Assemblies Electrical Cables and Harnesses Surface Mount and Thru Hole Circuit Card Assemblies.
- Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.
- Accept reject or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
- Work from blueprints diagrams customer regulatory and company specifications drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- The candidate will work in a manufacturing or production environment with frequent walking standing and lifting
- The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- The candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols when working in the production area
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles practices and standards including ISO 9001 AS9100 or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience using Microscope Eye Loup and other means of Magnification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints diagrams customer regulatory and company specifications drawings or inspection instructions and other technical documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues
- IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Certification Preferred
- IPC-610 and IPC-620 Instructor Certification a plus
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
