Use predetermined methods operations setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in process and completed electronic/electrical assembled products such as Electronic Assemblies Electrical Cables and Harnesses Surface Mount and Thru Hole Circuit Card Assemblies.
Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.
Accept reject or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
Work from blueprints diagrams customer regulatory and company specifications drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
The candidate will work in a manufacturing or production environment with frequent walking standing and lifting
The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
The candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols when working in the production area
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of quality control principles practices and standards including ISO 9001 AS9100 or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience using Microscope Eye Loup and other means of Magnification
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints diagrams customer regulatory and company specifications drawings or inspection instructions and other technical documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues
Skills Preferred
IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Certification Preferred
IPC-610 and IPC-620 Instructor Certification a plus
