About the Role
As a Cook at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary you will assist with a variety of tasks ranging from food preparation and cooking for a cafe menu serving breakfast & lunch group catering preparation for functions and events to baking of in-house goods such as pies cakes muffins and slices.
You will ensure food products are stored prepared and served safely in accordance with restaurant and government food safety policies. There will be occasional night work for functions and events as required.
About You
To be successful in this role youll bring experience in a commercial kitchen environment strong attention to detail and a positive team-oriented attitude.
Experience in fast-paced food preparation with a strong focus on food safety
Ability to work flexibly across a 7- day roster including mornings evenings weekends & holidays
Strong time management and ability to stay calm under pressure
Willingness to take initiative and work collaboratively
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery will be highly regarded
