$21.00 Per Hour Compensation within this range is determined based on the candidates experience education and degree of alignment with the role requirements

ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Intern to join our team. In this role you will support the marketing team in developing implementing and managing marketing campaigns and initiatives that promote the companys telecommunications products and services. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing including digital marketing content creation social media management market research and branding. The ideal candidate will be a motivated creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for marketing and a strong interest in the telecommunications industry.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Marketing Campaign Support:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels including digital social media email and print.
- Help manage timelines coordinate tasks and support the team in delivering marketing materials.
- Track campaign performance and assist in analyzing results to ensure continuous improvement and success.
- Content Creation:
- Assist in the creation and editing of marketing content including blog posts social media posts email newsletters website copy and promotional materials.
- Work with the design team to create visually appealing graphics presentations and digital assets for campaigns.
- Conduct research on industry trends competitor activities and customer preferences to inform content creation.
- Social Media Management:
- Assist in managing the companys social media accounts (e.g. Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Instagram) including scheduling posts responding to comments and monitoring engagement.
- Help create and curate content for social media platforms that aligns with the brand voice and marketing strategy.
- Track social media metrics and assist in reporting on performance to improve engagement strategies.
- Market Research:
- Conduct research on the telecommunications industry customer demographics and competitor marketing strategies.
- Assist in gathering insights about customer behavior market trends and emerging technologies to support strategic decision-making.
- Help prepare reports or presentations based on research findings to present to the marketing team.
- Event Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events trade shows and webinars including coordinating logistics preparing promotional materials and helping with post-event follow-up.
- Support the team in promoting events across various channels including social media email and website updates.
- Branding and Communications:
- Help ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and communication channels.
- Assist with internal and external communications including press releases newsletters and customer updates.
- Support the team in maintaining the companys website ensuring content is up-to-date and aligned with marketing goals.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
- Capacity to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Effective communication skills for team collaboration
- Ability to analyze complex technical information

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field (required).
- A strong interest in marketing within the telecommunications or technology industry.
- Previous internship or academic project experience in marketing digital marketing or communications is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with marketing principles tools and strategies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies (social media SEO email marketing etc.).
- Knowledge of marketing software and tools (e.g. Google Analytics social media management platforms like Hootsuite or Buffer and email marketing tools like Mailchimp) is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) and basic graphic design tools (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
