Company:
The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Test & Evaluation Lab Tech (Test Operation) to join our team in Berkeley MO. The Boeing Test & Evaluation Midwest Environmental Labs support various defense space and commercial programs. There are several areas of Environmental Test performed at this location which include: Acoustics Airflow Dynamics Hypersonics Thermal and Vibration. This hands on position will include all facets of the test lifecycle from test design setup and execution to test teardown. This position will primarily support the vibration and dynamics labs conducting fixed base vibration testing and structural dynamics testing such as ground vibration testing.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports activities to plan conduct and document tests on products systems components materials and manufacturing processes and technologies
Designs systems materials components software and methodologies to meet customer requirements
Participates in test design and performs routine procurement fabrication and assembly of components test fixtures and test systems
Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities
Facilitates systems integration fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup integration checkout and post test tear-down
Conducts routine tests analyzes data and documents results
Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems
Works under general supervision
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1 years of experience working in a lab test flight test or similar test environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Associates degree in a technical field
Experience directly supporting flight/lab test operations
Experience with precision test measurement devices and sensor selection
Experience with fabrication and installation of electrical instrumentation and control hardware
