Want to be a program leader who delivers new initiatives at scale to make our communities safer Are you looking for a role with high impact and high visibility We are looking for a motivated data-oriented self-starter to join as a Sr. Program Manager on the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Accountability team!
Safety signals are essential to our vision of making Amazons Last Mile delivery organization the worlds safest. These signals capture things like risks on the road driving patterns and other information that help delivery drivers complete their deliveries safely. As the leader of Signal Coverage you will ensure Amazons Last Mile safety signals are launched across the right vehicle types hardware/sensor types programs and geographies.
In this role you will own end-to-end programs that enhance safety for delivery associates and the communities they serve by leading the expansion of safety signal coverage. You will build and manage a comprehensive coverage plan design and launch programs that drive DSP adoption of in-vehicle safety devices and coordinate with partner teams to successfully deploy signals across new vehicle types programs and geographies. Youll ensure signal-level parity across hardware platforms develop scalable plug-and-play offerings for global expansion and dive deep into data and defects to identify root causes and drive resolution. Success requires solving complex technical problems with simple scalable solutions while influencing roadmaps aligning stakeholders and executing cross-functionally.
Key job responsibilities
- Use customer feedback and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems in a highly ambiguous space.
- Work with user experience and technical teams to build new programs and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and deliver a long term roadmap in partnership with multiple teams.
- Establish and deliver important new initiatives with broad impact to improve DSP on-road safety.
- Create new metrics to measure program performance and define success.
- Clearly communicate both verbally and in writing to drive buy-in and adoption across a diverse group of stakeholders with competing priorities including executives.
- Manage dependencies and own status reporting for time-sensitive projects involving technical and non-technical contributors.
A day in the life
In this role the Sr. Program Manager will lead program development and expansion to improve safety of delivery associates. You will spend time gathering feedback from your customers and diving deep into data to gain insight into complex problems. You will use these insights to develop short and long term solutions by working closely with partner teams and understanding Amazon Last Mile technology. You will write documents to gain buy-in and present to senior leadership for approval. Then youll develop business requirements success metrics and manage end-to-end delivery.

- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
